Back a few months ago, we learned that Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U were going to feature some special Nintendo crossover costumes, including Link, Samus, and Princess Peach. However, that is not all, as the brand new Bayonetta 2 themed Nintendo Direct that just ended revealed that Bayonetta 2 will be receiving an exclusive crossover costume based on another fan favorite Nintendo franchise.

As can be seen in the image above, Bayonetta now has access to a Fox McCloud costume from the Star Fox series, which is one of the best looking of the bunch. She even features the classic Arwing in pistol form. Just like the others, these are not mere skins, but special costumes that are actually built around the character the costume is based around. The Direct also showed off a Princess Daisy costume that appears to basically be the same as the Princess Peach costume, at least on the surface.

Little additions to the game like this are really nice touches to see, especially for longtime Nintendo fans. They did not specifically say that this was the last of the Nintendo costumes, so hopefully there are a few hidden ones that have yet to be revealed.

Bayonetta 2 is scheduled for release on October 24 in the US, with the original Bayonetta coming packaged inside the game at no extra cost.
