Kate Kane, otherwise known as Batwoman, no doubt has a long roster of villains to fight over the course of her debut season, which began last Sunday on the CW.
However, an enemy she probably didn’t expect to fight was a displeased fandom. Recently, a whole host of angry viewers of the Batwoman pilot took to their keyboards and started typing their frustrations into the Rotten Tomatoes audience reviews section.
The accumulated negative scoring of the reviews lowered the ‘Audience Score’ to 10%. This is a direct contrast with the critics’ score which currently rests at 72%.
While many wish that the show bombs, they may not get their wish, at least not yet. In fact, the Batwoman pilot pulled in 1.8 million viewers on its initial airing and brought in a further 1.1 million on its Tuesday rerun.
