In a blog update, Senior Producer Ryan McArthur says that Battlefield V will receive its final content update. The update is set to launch in June of this year.

It is not clear what the maps and modes of the summer update will entail. However, the Battlefield V social media came out and said that the codename for the map coming in the summer update is called Libya.

Along with the new content, the update will come with other gameplay features and events. After the summer update, players can earn Battlefield currency as weekly rewards to unlock weapons and gear.

The blog also says that there could be changes to the update schedule, as the development team is working from home.

Other additions include the return of the Friday Night Battlefield servers, for players to join up and partake in some friendly competition. There will also be new community game updates, as well as other game tweaks and fixes.

The blog also addresses the issues of cheating in the game, and what they are doing to address it. The Battlefield team is working on removing cheaters from the game, but recommend players report cheaters while playing.

Battlefield V is not the only game dealing with a surge of cheating players right now. Call of Duty Modern Warfare and its battle royale component Warzone has also had a surge of cheating players.
