The Battlefield V open beta is still running wild and will be doing for another day now. Thanks to this beta, we can give the game an early look and check how it is performing in terms of visuals and overall stability.

We have a Battlefield V open beta tech analysis by Candyland, which put an emphasis on the different performances on the platforms where the game is going to be available – PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to the analysis, which is based on standard console hardware, both PS4 and Xbox One struggle to keep the 60 frames per second target, an issue we hope and think will disappear by the time the game releases in a couple months.

“PC is played with 1080p resolution and max. graphics. Dynamic resolution scaling is turned off for PC. Both PS4 and Xbox One have dynamic resolution scaling and target 60 fps while the resolution ranges from 720p to 1080p on both consoles,” says the analysis’ description.

“The Xbox One mostly moves between 900p and 720p though, while the PS4 manages to keep the 1080p more often. Still both consoles struggle to keep 60 fps which they can’t most of the time.”

Battlefield V is coming November 20, so there’s still a lot of time for the developer DICE to fix it and make it as good as possible especially in the multiplayer component.
