The Battlefield 4 hype train left the station last month when a full blown reveal at E3 gave fans a glimpse at the next generation. We’ve seen some new equipement, the re-introduction of Commander Mode, a stunning single player campaign, and of course Levolution.

Though there’s still more to reveal according to DICE, and in the coming weeks, multiplayer fans will be getting word about new game modes. Electronic Arts was recently in Australia for a Battlefield 4 event with EB Games. The reveal regurgitated some of the information that we’ve already heard about, but EA did briefly tease that new multiplayer modes will be revealed shortly.

According to an attendee who transcribed a Q&A session at the event, when the topic of multiplayer came up, it was revealed that “Fans won’t be disappointed by the number of maps in the game,” and that new game modes “will be shown very soon.”

With Gamescom just around the corner, we’re hoping DICE has some new information to share on these new multiplayer modes for Battlefield 4. BF3 saw the introduction of a few new modes, and it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with next.
