The Road to Battlefield celebration marches on, and while it’s finally nearing its end there’s still some great DLC for everyone to pick up for free. The latest one is China Rising, which was originally released for Battlefield 4 in December of 2013.

EA has now made the DLC available to download for free for everyone, though it is currently only available to download on Xbox One. This is a similar release method that has been present with all of the other DLC, so the DLC for PlayStation 4 and PC will be available to download for free shortly.

Following the release of this DLC, there will be just one more DLC that will be released for free. Once that is out EA will have made all of the DLC from Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline available to download for free, while also making both games temporarily available to purchase for just $5.

This all leads up to the October release of Battlefield 1, which brings the series back in time to the events of World War 1. The game has been shaping up very nicely with all of the footage we have seen so far, and the game will officially launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 21st.
