Battlefield 2042 Season 2: Master of Arms update will add new content to the game, such as maps, a specialist, weapons, and vehicles. Changes and Improvements

  • A new Home Screen offers a single overview of all available game modes
  • Rush returns as a permanently available game mode
  • Stealth Helicopters receive further balance adjustments
  • Assault Rifles & Submachine Guns receive balance adjustments to Headshot Multipliers
  • In Breakthrough and Rush, automatically switch to play one round as both Attacker and Defender after EoR before rotating to the next map
  • Custom Conquest has been added to the Battlefield Portal Builder as a new Conquest game mode with added customizable options for capture points and extra logic options for the Rules Editor.

The new map, Stranded, heads to Panama and a dried-up desert lake. Fight on and inside a beached cargo ship home to a center for the illegal gun trade. One hundred new tiers of Hardware, Cosmetics, and Player Card items are available to earn with the Season 2 Battle Pass. The Free Tiers offer access to new elements, including the new Specialist, Weapons, and Vehicles, while the Premium Tiers offer additional cosmetic benefits.

Season 1 officially ends on August 30 at 8 AM UTC. So, Season 2 content launches on August 30 at 8 AM ET / 12 PM UTC. Once Season 2 is released through the 24/7 Playlists for Conquest and Breakthrough, you can start playing Stranded right now.
