Battlefield 2042 has officially released its Open Beta into the wild, letting players get a taste of what to expect from the title. With both the Orbital map and Conquest game mode available for play, there’s enough here to satisfy the beta’s two-day run time. When running towards your next objective though, you may wish to customize your weapon so that it works exactly how you want it to. No need to worry if you’re having troubles though as, in this guide, I’ll teach you how you can change attachments in Battlefield 2042!
How to Change Attachments in Battlefield 2042
Changing attachments in Battlefield 2042 is actually quite simple. First of all, head into battle with the weapon you wish to customize. Then, press the key corresponding to the Plus menu for your weapon attachments. On PC, this is set to T by default but will be a different button if you’re playing on console obviously. Then, as you’re holding down that button, you’ll see all the attachments you wish to change along with what each one does. Simply pick the attachments you wish to take into battle, then let go of the button and head into battle.

While this sounds easy, I’m personally running into a bug on PC where this menu will be super inconsistent. If you’re like me, there’s a fairly simple fix to this. First of all, head over to the key bindings menu and rebind the button to a different key. For whatever reason, T will remain incredibly inconsistent and essentially make it impossible to pull off. Hopefully, this solution ends up fixing your issue. If it doesn’t chances are you can attribute the fact that this is a beta to the reasoning.
Battlefield 2042 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
