Battlefield 1 will soon be playable in 4K on the Xbox One X.
Battlefield 1 is finally getting a 4K Enhancement for the Xbox One X. DICE confirmed the upcoming patch for the game via Twitter.
A number of improvements are coming to Battlefield 1 in the upcoming patch, which DICE will be detailing in a livestream on July 31st. DICE is calling it the “Summer Update” for Battlefield 1 and it will feature long awaited support for 4K resolution on Microsoft’s most powerful game console.
The livestream will be viewable on the Battlefield Twitch channel.
The good thing about the Battlefield series is just how long DICE supports their games. Releasing back in 2016, Battlefield 1 has gotten plenty of updates in its two-year span, all while DICE has been promoting Star Wars: Battlefront and Battlefield V.
The already visually impressive Battlefield 1 will be looking a little better on the Xbox One X here after the Summer Update. Just what else DICE has in store for fans with the latest patch is unknown.
Battlefield 1 4K Support on the Xbox One X is a long time coming. PlayStation Pro owners have already gotten a taste of the shooter at upscaled 4K and high frame rates. With the Xbox One X being more powerful, this patch should make Battlefield look and play even better on the console.
