The Behemoth as announced that BattleBlock Theater will be available worldwide through Xbox Live on April 3rd. The downloadable title will cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
The game just finished up a closed beta, where community members got to test the game’s many features. BattleBlock Theater features a single and cooperative campaign, competitive online play, and a slew of editing tools. It’s a rather massive package for a downloadable title.
Fans have been waiting for BattleBlock Theater for quite some time. The Behemoth announced that game back in 2009, and the extended development cycle for the game has increased its scope immensely if the beta is any indication. Look for it next month.
