Today, THQ Nordic announced the upcoming Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated will receive two collector’s editions for fans to buy.
The first edition is called the Shiny Edition retails for $149.99 in America, and will include the following:
- An 8-inch Spongebob Figure with Golden Spatula and flexible tongue (yes, you read that right)
- Wallsticks
- 6 Lithographs
- Spongebob Squarepants tennis socks
- The game on your platform of choice

The second edition is called the F.U.N Edition (taking its name from the F.U.N song) and will retail for $299.99 in America. This bundle includes:
- An 8-inch Spongebob Figure with Golden Spatula and flexible tongue (the same as above)
- A 7-inch Figurine of Patrick
- An 8-inch Figurine of Sandy
- Wallstickers
- A set of Tiki Keyrings
- 6 Lithographs
- Spongebob Squarepants tennis socks
- The game on your platform of choice

This announcement follows the publisher’s trend of launching over-the-top bundles for several of their upcoming games. Biomutant and Destroy All Humans! Remastered both had two collector’s editions announced, with one of Destroy All Humans!’s retailing for $399.99. You can’t say THQ Nordic isn’t playing to their fans.
Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is an upcoming remake of the cult-classic 2003 game of the same name. The new version includes modern visuals, new multiplayer modes, “carefully polished gameplay,” and restored content such as the cut Robo Squidward boss battle.
