It’s only been a few days since Batman vs Superman came out in cinemas and Warner Bros. has decided to reveal a deleted scene from the movie already.
The scene explains more on what happened to Lex Luthor at the end of Batman vs Superman. Spoilers will be talked about here so click away if you have not seen it yet.
At the end of Batman vs Superman, we see that Lex Luthor has been arrested after unleashing Doomsday and doing other crimes. However, we never saw how he got arrested and how he knows that a bigger bad guy is coming to Earth.
In this deleted scene called “Communion”, we see that some SWAT members storm into the Kryptonian ship that Lex is in. They witness what looks like a servant to Darkseid holding a pair of motherboxes. After that, they go in and arrest Lex Luthor appears very scared about something.
This explains the odd behavior that he displayed when he was talking to Batman in jail. The Kryptonian ship told him all of the secrets of the Universe and may have alerted him about Darkseid’s incoming invasion of Earth.
