When it comes to DC Studios, it has all been a bit rocky since things have been changing over to new management. James Gunn and Peter Safran are now co-CEOs of the company. Things like Henry Cavill being forced to end his role as Superman and Wonder Woman 3 being canceled were some things that happened in the mix. Now there are also going to be some things happening with Batman. Robert Pattinson is known for the live-action version of Batman, however, apparently, his Batman is in a whole different universe, and now the DC Universe is in need of one. Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles actually voiced Batman in Batman: The Long Halloween…now recently one fan shared a piece of fan art with Ackles as the Dark Knight.

Jensen Ackles As Batman

An artist with the handle @Bobby_art posted the fan art on Instagram. The piece shows Supernatural and The Boys actor dressed as the Caped Crusader. Ackles is wearing the blue and gray style batsuit with a gold bat symbol. You can see the post here. For now, though, there is no official news on if Pattinson will appear in the main DCU or not, James Gunn has hinted at there being a new version of the character…maybe they are starting a multiverse of their own…

Gunn and Safran both said in a joint statement, “we’re honored to be the stewards of these DC characters we’ve loved since we were children, we look forward to collaborating with the most talented writers, directors, and actors in the world to create an integrated, multilayered universe that still allows for the individual expression of the artists involved. Our commitment to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, and the rest of the DC stable of characters is only equaled by our commitment to the wonder of human possibility these characters represent. We’re excited to invigorate the theatrical experience around the world as we tell some of the biggest, most beautiful, and grandest stories ever told.”
