When making your way through the zombified hordes of the new co-op shooter and Left 4 Dead spiritual successor, Back 4 Blood, it is important to do so in style. One way to express yourself in this post-apocalypse is to equip skins to your weapons and characters, known as cleaners. This guide will show you how to unlock skins in Back 4 Blood.
How to Unlock Skins in Back 4 Blood
If you pre-ordered the game, you will have gotten a few weapon skins for four of the guns. To equip a weapon skin, whether it be these pre-order extras or ones that you unlock (we will discuss that in a second), you will need to meet Dusty the Quartermaster of Fort Hope, your home base. Talking to them will allow you to select the Customize Weapon tab. Opening this tab will allow you to equip any weapon skins you currently have unlocked. To unlock other skins for your cleaners and weapons will require you to get some Supply Points. These Points can be acquired by completing runs of the campaign missions. Note that these Points when playing solo, though Turtle Rock Studios will be implementing solo progression in a patch. As of now you will need to do runs in co-op to get Supply Points. The higher the difficulty, the more Points you will earn and the faster you will unlock skins.

Once you have enough Points, you will have to go the Supply Line vendor at Fort Hope. You will be able to spend points to complete Supply Lines, a set of cosmetics for your cleaners and weapons. You will have to unlock all previous items in a given Supply Line to buy a skin. Another way to both earn Supply Points and skins is to complete in-game challenges known as Accomplishments. These Accomplishments can reward you with large sums of Points as well as just give you certain skins. Make sure you look through your challenges to see what you will get upon completing them.
Back 4 Blood is available now on box Series X/ S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
