Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios launched a brand new campaign trailer for the highly-anticipated Back 4 Blood. It showcases the many characters that players will interact with, along with the expected adrenaline rush of zombie action.
Back 4 Blood Brings the Carnage and a Story
The world has been infested with a vicious Devil Worm that basically took over the world. Now slithering with grotesque fiends of a mad nightmare, there’s nowhere to turn. When there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who are you going to call? The Cleaners, of course! Venerated as veterans during a zombie apocalypse, The Cleaners are humanity’s last strike of hope against the Ridden and all their filth.
The trailer is comprised of cutscenes and first-person gameplay of Back 4 Blood, with various characters voicing motivations, concerns, and insults. We get a better understanding of who these Cleaners are, and the dynamics between primary leaders Mom and Phillips. It’s intense footage that is fueled entirely by action, and it’s easy to beg for more. In addition to Mom and Phillips, you can also spot Hoffman, Walker, Doc, and a few more.
The campaign trailer adds significant focus to Back 4 Blood‘s lore that wasn’t delved into previously. Before, there was the “Meet the Cleaners” video showcasing who was who, but not why. The new footage can be seen as a supplement piece of content for players who are interested in the narrative.
Back 4 Blood will be launching on October 12, 2021, for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Those who pre-order will receive the Fort Hope Elite Weapon Skin Pack.
