As he took a seat with Gabby before her family, he disclosed how amazing his hometown date went. According to the 29-year-old, he was sure of his feelings for her afterward.
Gabby’s aunty, Julie, went on to point out in a recorded interview that Gabby’s position was affirmative too. Her family seems to approve of the real estate analyst, as confirmed by Grandpa John’s statement referring to Erich as a keeper. Of course, it wouldn’t have gotten to that point if she didn’t like it. The Bachelorette star also disclosed to her grandma that the analyst has been good to her.
Before the final date, Erich Schwer also talked with Gabby Windey‘s dad, Patrick. He explained to Patrick that his daughter is an amazing person who he had a crazy connection with from the inception of the show.

Before Erich Schwer’s final date with Gabby Windey‘s family, her dad asked her why she was sure about him. She responded by stating that no one ever loved her like Erich did. However, Gabby got emotional in her talk with Aunt Julie. She revealed that her broken relationship with her mother may have made her unworthy of love.
Aunt Julie said it would be better to tell Erich about it, but Gabby didn’t feel like Erich was the one for her. But she admitted that she gets emotional thinking about him.
Gabby And Erich’s Final Date
The date between the duo started on a good note with a couple of touches and kisses while Erich professed his love for her. She responded by saying that she felt pretty good about their future together.
However, the final date for Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer took a “U-turn” when he told her that he didn’t want to propose until they dated in the real world. After hearing that statement, Gabby felt he wasn’t going to pop the question anytime soon. He tried to go after her, but she angrily left while telling the cameras that everything ended in a big fat dumpster fire!
