Following her mysterious absence from this week’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise, Salley Carson offered a half-baked explanation for her late arrival, but her co-stars don’t seem keen on buying it. In a sneak peek into next week’s episode, the 26-year-old, who gained prominence after appearing in Clayton Echard’s season of the ABC show, finally arrived at the beach to join the rest of the cast and her lone luggage which arrived earlier.
Her grand arrival followed the October 3, 2022 episode, which saw the other cast members fuss over Sally’s absence despite the arrival of her bags. Bartender Wells Adams attempted to diffuse the situation by explaining that the spine surgery robot operator decided at the last minute to speak with her ex-fiancé Avery Buchholz one last time before departing.
As a result, a Bachelor in Paradise producer, who arrived at her house to escort her to the airport, was forced to wait for her in the trunk for four hours. When she eventually finished pouring out her heart to her ex amid tears, the TV personality made her way to the airport, to find that she already missed her flight. She kept missing flights, ultimately causing her not to make it to the beach in time for this week’s episode.
The other contestants, who could not hide their bewilderment immediately probed her for answers. In response, the TV personality divulged:
The contestants were even more stunned after listening to her casual explanation. One of them, Genevieve Parisi admitted to being shocked after seeing Salley’s suitcase earlier, without the reality star in sight. She could not but wonder how things would play out for the 26-year-old upon her arrival.

Elsewhere in the episode, Shanae Ankney looked to be questioning Salley Carson about her late arrival. The star gave another dismissive statement in response, claiming “work stuff came up.” The robotic consultant, who also lists her career as ex-fiancé on ABC bio, further buttressed that her job came first.
The other cast members couldn’t scratch the feeling that something else was amiss, especially after listening to Wells’ earlier explanation. Elsewhere in the episode, Genevieve divulged:
After seemingly getting fed up with her shady antics, the women eventually asked Salley Carson point blank if she spent time with her ex-fiancé before joining them on the 26th season of Bachelor In Paradise. Seeing the star’s reaction so far, she seems adamant to remain tight-lipped about her whereabouts, which could mean more drama for the contestants come October 11.
