Two years after enduring her devastating split from Colton Underwood and his subsequent coming out as gay, The Bachelor alum Cassie Randolph is sharing how she braved the tumultuous phase.

During an appearance on The Ben and Ashley I, Almost Forgot podcast, the television personality Cassie Randolph, who gained prominence in 2019 after emerging winner of The Bachelor season 23, discussed her split from Colton, the season’s bachelor. According to her, their breakup, which happened in 2020, was a particularly hard time for her, which left her overwhelmed.

The overwhelming feeling only worsened a year later, after her ex-boyfriend came out as gay in 2021, about a year after their split. Cassie admitted Colton Underwood going public with his sexual orientation caught her off guard. However, he managed to pull through the initial shock and has since reached a better place, where she felt extremely “fine.”

Despite going through a hard time following her and Colton Underwood’s split, Cassie Randolph admitted she has no ill feelings toward her ex. Contrariwise, the 27-year-old felt happy that her ex finally found the courage to own up to his sexuality. Asked how she felt about the whole situation and how it’s influenced her life so far, she said:
