The Mandalorian has been a fan favorite, but not for the reason you would expect. An adorable little creature known as Baby Yoda took the world by storm. With this came backpacks, calendars, Lego sets, and much more. Fans coined the green creature’s name, due to its likeness to Star Wars’ Yoda. Soon though, that name will be no more. In the latest episode of The Mandalorian, Baby Yoda’s actual name was revealed.
The Mandalorian Season Two
With this season came much lore from the Star Wars universe. There came a new Jedi, which has never appeared in a live-action movie. It also focuses on the goal to protect the Child and eventually return it home. It seems that Baby Yoda may not be the only focus though. The new character will be the main reason a new storyline evolves in the series. This announcement of a new storyline also came to a few name drops in the recent episode. Even though fans took claim to Baby Yoda, the producers released the name in the episode.
Who is Baby Yoda?
The name given to Baby Yoda is Grogu. Fans took this very hard as tweets were sent out about the new actual name. Fans are still denying calling the Child Grogu. I enjoy the series for the storyline. The fact Grogu has a name brings new content to the show, as the show’s name of “The Child” is no more.
