The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams are currently going at it for a title but Marvel has already made their presence known during the big game tonight. Just before the Super Bowl started, the studio released a short teaser trailer for Avengers: Endgame. You can see that teaser down below:

This teaser doesn’t show much, other than some more emotional ramifications from Thanos’ snap. It looks like Cap and the remaining Avengers are gearing up for some sort of suicide mission, determined to avenge their fallen friends or even reverse the traumatic event from ever happening.

But, Marvel wasn’t done there. Later on in the night, they released another TV spot for their next film, Captain Marvel. That TV spot can be watched below:

Like Endgame, there wasn’t much to dissect here other than the intro and the “higher, further, faster” tagline.

Although fans may have wanted more from Marvel Studios tonight, playing it safe with two short TV spots is the right call. In Captain Marvel’s case, the first female-led MCU film is just over one month away from hitting theaters. It would be crazy to release another full-length trailer, which could possibly reveal some unwanted spoilers. Avengers: Endgame may release in late April but there is no reason for Marvel to unveil another big trailer to us (at least for now). It seems that the studio is pretty much guaranteeing that you are either in or you’re out with their cinematic universe.

Captain Marvel will hit theaters March 8th, 2019 and Avengers: Endgame will release just a little over a month later, April 26th.
