Have you ever wanted to be a bender? Well, now you can! Courtesy of Magpie Games, we’re getting the first-ever tabletop roleplaying game set in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe. It seems shocking that an Avatar RPG has never been made before, given how intricate the worldbuilding is. Additionally, there is so much variation in combat thanks to the four elements benders can manipulate: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. But now, 16 years later, it’s finally time.

Avatar: The Last Airbender began in 2005 and has grown in popularity year-on-year. Even its spinoff, The Legend of Korra, and the comics are all well-loved. Despite a few hurdles, like the panned live-action movie in 2010, the animated franchise has made a recent resurgence. Netflix is even developing a new live-action attempt. The fact that we’re getting a tabletop roleplaying game is a further testament to Avatar’s enduring success.

We are excited to announce we have signed a deal with ViacomCBS to create a roleplaying game based on Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra! The game will arrive in February 2022, followed by two supplements the following year! Read More Here https://t.co/EAAUDh3jVS pic.twitter.com/5Mtax9yX54
