With Thanksgiving Day having arrived, many folks are gathering to give thanks and spend time with their loved ones. Families aren’t the only ones celebrating though, as it appears Automachef developer Hermes Interactive wants to join in the festivities. Their game Automachef has received a free Thanksgiving update today bringing in several new additions. These include new levels, new recipes, an entirely new machine, and much, much more!

The new recipes being added to Automachef are sure to put you in the Thanksgiving spirit. You have dishes like roast turkey, roasted sweet potatoes, cornbread, the classic pumpkin pie and more! These dishes are all featured in the three news levels centered around the Thanksgiving theme. Most important of all though is the entirely new electric oven. This new tool will allow you to cook all these new items, and even comes equipped with power options for an efficient kitchen. When playing, you’ll also notice some quality of life improvements such as shortcuts and different highlight fixes. Modding support has also been updated allowing for more diversity in the game’s mods.

All of this helps to not only make the game feel festive but also to improve the quality of the overall game. You can read the full changelog on their official Steam page. Don’t know what Automachef is? It’s an indie puzzle game published by Team17 Digital, known for Overcooked 1 and 2. You’re a new restaurant owner, looking the revolutionize the world with tasty food made efficiently. Your task in the game is to create different machine layouts in order to get the food out as quickly as possible while using as little energy as possible. Watch out though, as disasters may strike to ruin your perfectly good kitchen. The game is available on both PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch for $14.99.
