Jenny Han was first catapulted into the limelight when To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was released on Netflix in 2018. The movie, based on Han’s novel of the same name, features high school student Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor), a shy girl who writes letters to all the boys she’s had crushes on and then locks them away. When her younger sister Kitty (Anna Cathcart) sends the letters to their intended recipients, Lara Jean finds herself locked in a love triangle with her former crushes Josh (Israel Broussard) and Peter (Noah Centineo). The movie was followed by To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020) and To All The Boys: Always and Forever (2021), both released by Netflix.
