PlayStation TV
Sony has recently filed a trademark for “PlayStation TV.” While the application has revealed little else, it is marked as a service, and according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office is dated June 26, 2013.
This wouldn’t be the first PlayStation TV service by Sony, as in 2006 they filed a similar trademark that was officially abandoned last September.
Sony Pre-Orders Off Limits
Due to a considerably high demand, GameStop is no longer accepting pre-orders for the PS4. GameStop issues the following statement to GameInformer: “Due to high demand for the system, GameStop is not currently taking additional store reservations for the PlayStation 4.” Email submission is available for those who would like an update on the next batch of pre-orders available.
This is certainly bad news for those who have yet to order their console, but it’s amazing news for Sony who is clearly exceeding expectations.
