Persona 6 may be coming to more systems than what players expected.

Recently, Atlus ran a survey that opened the possibility of having a new Persona title on Xbox and the Nintendo Switch. The survey was directed to the North American region, and it was only available from May 13th to May 15th.

The Persona franchise has been around since the first Playstation console; the franchise started as a spin-off of another well-known franchise called Shin Megami Tensei. The Persona franchise has been mostly available on Playstation and some Nintendo consoles; the PC and Xbox crowd got some titles on their systems like Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, but most of the titles have been featured on Sony’s systems. The last Persona title was released back in 2020, and according to Persona 5’s Metacritic page, the title was well received by the community getting a 7.7/10 on the user score.

A few days ago, the Official Atlus Twitter page shared a post prompting players to take part in a survey to give their feedback on some subjects, but one of the questions got a lot of players excited. One of the many questions featured on the survey asks if players would be interested in a sequel of a numbered series to be released and on which platform players would like to experience it, listing Xbox and Nintendo Switch as options.

The Persona series is not the only one that could benefit from this question. The Etrian Odyssey and Megami Tensei series were also featured in the question, so any of these series could come at some point to these consoles if players demand it.

All in all, depending on how this survey goes and how many players react to this question, we could get a release on any of these systems in the future. Surveys like this one are one of the many tools many developers use to find out firsthand what are the players’ needs and wants, wasting no resources or time on a project that is not in demand.

We can only wait for an announcement from this developer regarding the future of these franchises. So far, the Tweet that shared the survey has a lot of engagement, and most fans are excited about the questions featured. A lot of players have been waiting for an official release date for Persona 6, and this survey got a lot of players hyped about the possibility of having the next title on more systems.

Persona 6 does not have a release date.
