Chill out.
Even in the game’s final File, Astral Chain is still throwing new boss fights at you outside of the inevitable final boss battle. This latest one appears not too far into File 11, with your new ability definitely making this much faster. This guide will explain how you can take down Arke quickly.
As soon as you start the fight, you can activate your IRIS to see Arke’s health. Once you start attacking Arke, you’ll notice its health starts to drop pretty fast. The only difficult part here is that it can be a bit hard to consistently land attacks due to it hovering over the ground for most of the battle.
You do need to watch out for Arke’s attacks, which are all ice based. These can freeze you in place, leaving you vulnerable for additional attacks as well.
You can deal some early damage the normal way, but what you’re going to want to do here is utilize your brand new ability you just received at the end of the previous File known as Fusion. As long as you haven’t used it so far this chapter, you likely should have your meter filled up, allowing you to activate it by pressing both the left and right analog sticks at the same time.
Once you have activated Fusion, you can deal loads of damage in a few seconds. Just keep attacking Arke and it should be destroyed in less than a minute once you fuse.
