SOULCALIBUR VI might not have had a competitive presence on the Evo grand stage this past weekend. But that didn’t stop Bandai Namco from using the grand finals to show off two new characters for its upcoming fighting game.

Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na, two of the game’s most beloved characters, have been huge huge omissions from the roster. That was until they were finally unveiled before the Tekken 7 Evo finals. Both characters have been in a majority of the SOULCALIBUR titles in the past few years.

Astaroth is a golem that was created by an evil cult in the lore and is a heavy, slow, fighter that deals a lot of damage. He is mainly seen as a weapon to serve the cult’s purpose of destruction and rebirth.

Seong Mi-Na, on the other hand, is a warrior that ran away from an arranged marriage that her father decided for her. She wields the Scarlet Thunder, a weapon passed down through countless generations of her family, and fights with grace and speed.

Both of their inclusions brings the total roster of characters to 17 following the reveal Talim, the Last Priestess of the Winds, back in July. Only Groh and Geralt of Rivia, a guest character on loan from the Witcher series of video games by CD PROJEKT RED, are new characters being added to the roster. The other 15 members of the roster are returning characters.

SOULCALIBUR VI will launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Oct. 19.
