The Wrath of the Druids expansion, the first batch of meaty Assassin’s Creed Valhalla post-launch content, releases on April 29, Ubisoft announced today.

Wrath of the Druids leaves England behind and takes players to Ireland to duke it out with prominent figures from the ancient druidic Children of Danu cult. As Ubisoft detailed back in October, when it first unveiled post-launch plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Wrath of the Druids explores Ireland’s rich Gaelic history to deliver a darker tone, one stacked with eerie druid groves, mysterious folklore, and arresting vistas of Ireland.

Here’s Ubisoft’s official blurb to add a bit more flavor:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ostara Festival

In other Assassin’s Creed Valhalla news, the Ostara Festival launched today bringing a host of seasonally appropriate activities as well as an Easter-themed facelift to Eivor’s adopted English hometown of Ravensthorpe. The Festival runs until April 8.

Players can go egg hunting, dabble in a spot of archery, drinking, or brawling, even fight off forest spirits once the sun has set, and unlock a bunch of Spring-themed rewards and cosmetics in the process. This one is completely free for existing owners of the game.

If you downloaded Tuesday’s weighty 1.2.0 title update, you should be able to jump right in as long as you’ve completed either of the relatively early-game Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire arcs to unlock the festival content.
