After establishing a new home in England for your fellow Vikings, a wide range of opportunities will be available. Embarking on river raids becomes accessible, camp extensions bring forth more features, and Ireland grabs the attention of Eivor. For the Wrath of the Druids DLC, Ireland becomes the main playground to explore. But you need to proceed a little further into the narrative first before you can set sail to the land of the Irish. Here’s all you need to know on unlocking Ireland in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

How to Unlock Ireland in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids

If you have the Wrath of the Druids DLC installed, a notification will pop up about the content’s importance; it will also detail the arrival of a stranger coming to Ravensthorpe. Upon arriving at your Viking home, you’ll speak to the stranger known as Azar by the docks. This will all be a part of the new “Irish Trade” quest, which introduces Eivor to Azar and their reasoning for their arrival. Azar’s Irish King claims to know Eivor in a letter that details their connection. But the letter got lost, and they need to trade.

Azar will task Eivor with clearing out an enemy blockade on the Nene River. All you need to do is assemble your Vikings to take down the enemies and break away the blockade on the river. Once the action has concluded, head back to Ravensthorpe to speak with Azar once again. They will then reveal that the Irish King is Eivor’s cousin, and they wish to invite them to the great green land. Azar will then eventually ask Eivor if they’d like to go to Ireland: this is where your journey begins for the Wrath of the Druids DLC.

It is recommended that your power level is at least 55 or above should you enter Ireland. This indicates that the player must have completed the beginning Norway section and have created Ravensthorpe while completing story missions. The player can always travel back and forth between England and Ireland if they wish, too. But you must complete Azar’s quest if you wish to travel abroad to Ireland.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
