New activity inbound for Valhalla.
It has just been recently confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is on schedule to get a new DLC alongside a update in accordance with the roadmap shared by Ubisoft as of a few days back.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released on the 10th of November 2020 by Ubisoft as the newest entry in their long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise. This time with the emphasis being placed by the Vikings and the trails that they’ve blazed whilst marching through the British Isles.
The newest tweet by Ubisoft didn’t exactly specify what it is that can be expected from the free game activity that is to be added on the 9th of November, but it points to keeping a sharp eye on runes that can be found at different locales and treading on grounds that may have already been explored before.
The upcoming Valhalla DLC shouldn’t come as a surprise to people who have kept up to date with information surrounding Valhalla, due to this having been unraveled in a leak that came shortly before the official announcement. From the Playstation trophies, it can be seen that there are at least three Tombs of the fallen that can be explored by the player throughout the course of their playthrough with this new content.

The new Valhalla DLC comes as an update to the old roadmap that Ubisoft released back in October. Where it was only indicated that the Fall of 2021 was going to feature an update to the game and a time-limited event in the form of the Oskoreia Festival. It is now possible to see that the title update in question is something that’s coming in tandem with the new DLC that is Tombs of the Fallen, which would mean that Tombs of the Fallen is at the very least some instance of content that Valhalla players would be able to consume for a period of time before any future updates or DLC gets added to the array of gameplay content that the game’s got to offer.
In regards to future content, it was recently leaked that an expansion that is on par with Wrath of the Druids and the Siege of Paris is in the works. With the Viking protagonist Eivor treading his way into the realms of Svartalfheim. Considering that the expansion is implied to not only contain achievements involving dwarven shelters and give Eivor access to numerous new and interesting abilities, it is possible to assume that any and all content before the release of this large expansion to be Ubisoft’s effort at tiding players over until the release of such substantial material.
