A new rumor suggests that Xbox Store Poland may have leaked the impending release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the Xbox Game Pass. According to the Polish website XGP, the logo appeared a while and vanished shortly after. But the leaker was able to take a screenshot of the store page just before the change.

Several Assassin’s Creed titles were added to Game Pass this year. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the previous mainline game in the series, and Assassin’s Creed Origins joined Xbox Game Pass in September and June, respectively.

Valhalla is a part of Ubisoft+ Classics, a brand-new subscription service that offers players free access to previous Ubisoft games. The Ubisoft+ Classics is available to all PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. As Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is accessible via PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, it’s worth noting that Ubisoft may have also chosen to include it in Xbox Game Pass.

On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla got a free DLC, The Forgotten Saga. “Baldr, the Norse god of light and purity, is lost to Niflheim. Odin, mad with grief, refuses to accept that his son lies in the misty realm of the dead,” DLC overview wrote. “Defying fate, the All-Father plunges into the depths of Niflheim to push through the hostile lands, but Niflheim is a realm of the dead, and the living is not welcome.”

Players should always take all rumors with a grain of salt until Microsoft or Ubisoft makes an official announcement.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
