The release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a little over a month away. While Assassin’s Creed fans eagerly await the game’s release on November 10th, 2020, some are preparing by playing though older Assassin’s Creed titles. For those who may have missed a title over the years, then you are in luck. This week, all Assassin’s Creed titles are on sale through the Deals with Gold. This means if you have missed any, you have a month to catch up before the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Also, prepare to clear some hard drive space because the Valhalla file size has been revealed.

Earlier this week, the Xbox Store listing for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was updated. From this update, we have learned the day one Assassin’s Creed Valhalla file size. For an open-world adventure RPG, the day one Valhalla file size seems a bit small. According to the store, the base Valhalla file size comes in at roughly 60 Gbs; earlier this week, the preorder listing stated that the day one Valhalla File size was 50.01 GBs. In comparison, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is 22.3 GBs while the newer Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is 66 GBs. This means Valhalla might be smaller than Odyssey, despite rumors of the game being bigger.

In addition to the Valhalla file size being revealed, the listing mentions Xbox One X and Xbox Series X/S details. The Xbox One X version features enhanced 4k resolution with HDR support; it also provides Xbox Series X/S optimization with higher-end 4k resolution and offers HDR support through Smart Delivery. Remember, the day one file size typically does not say the same once the game launches. We can easily expect at least a 7 GB update on the first day.

Assassin’s Creed Vahalla is set to release on November 10th, 2020. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
